This is the core of this blog. I am the dad of two wonderful little girls, they are my pride and joy and I love them will all my heart.

Don’t let those smiles fool you though. They both have tremendous personalities in proportion to their body sizes. Every day they manage to make me want to smack my head repeatedly into hard objects and need a timeout so I can compose myself. They ALSO make me laugh on a daily basis with a need to go to another room and compose myself. They are completely loving and sweet, imaginative and intelligent, while also being moody, fighting with each other, shedding tears over the smallest things, needing constant attention and closeness. This is just part of being a girl dad I have found, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

There is nothing I wouldn’t do for these girls, and ensuring that they will grow up to be good people and citizens is my utmost duty. I love what I do and I love having them in my life. I hope that one day they will look back at this time and think fondly of how they grew up. Their lives haven’t been perfect, but we have done the best we could for them even if it meant sacrificing something ourselves and all parents out there will get that.

It may seem like this is going nowhere and is a little heavy on the sentiment. Don’t worry, the mistakes, low times, craziness and outright WTF moments will be chronicled here as well. In fact one of my first posts will involve children, Sonic drinks and a time out, stay tuned!
